Plonka has been a Shining Star
The decision was made today to retire PLONKA after pulling up with respiratory issues at Newcastle today.
He has been our headline act for many years winning in 5 occassions and amassing a staggering $308,595 in stakes.
PLONKA was the winner of the NRRA Country Championship Qualifier in 2020 and went on the finish 3rd in the $500,000 Final behind Gracie Belle. In 2021 he won the Wild Card at Muswellbrook and was again brave in the final finishing 6th behind Art Cadeau.
We tried to get him in the Kosciuszko for a few year without success and his chance came in 2021 where he hit the line as always for 8th place behind Art Cadeau & Handle The Truth.
He will be remembered for the his big heart and his proud owner Pete Colley has been rewarded for his patience and loyalty to the horse and our stable.
Susan and Warren would like to thank you for all of your support and kind words as we raced on the biggest platforms of Country NSW.
He will get his chance to rest up and enjoy many years in lush paddocks as his retirement has come.
